National Convention Updates Page

Dear Convention Attendee,

Based upon hotel availability in downtown Atlanta, we have been relocated to two additional hotels as listed below, with meetings held at the Omni Hotel at CNN center and the Georgia World Congress Center.  The Courtyard Marriott and the Marriott Marquis are both less than a mile from the Omni and Georgia World Congress Center, and the Sheraton Hotel is arranging transportation to assist with movement between venues. Pertinent information will be communicated as it becomes available, so please check your email messages regularly  

Please note: You MUST retain your current hotel reservations in order for them to be transferred to the new hotels. We are aware that many of you received cancellation notices in error, but I am assured that your reservations were captured before those notices were sent.  

1. Courtyard Marriott: IF you currently have reservations at the Courtyard, the original overflow hotel, your reservations will remain there. Do Not Cancel Your Reservation.
2. Omni Hotel at the CNN Center: The first half of the rooms reserved at the Sheraton will be moved to the Omni Hotel chronologically based upon the date your reservation was made. (Those reserving rooms at the Sheraton first will be moved to the Omni in that order.)
3. Marriott Marquis: The second half of the rooms reserved at the Sheraton will be moved to the Marriott Marquis chronologically based upon the date your reservation was made (The Marriott Marquis will assume all remaining reservations once the Omni is full.)
4. Non-group reservations: If you made reservations at the Sheraton outside of the KPC room block by using points or other discount programs such as Expedia, ETC., you will need to either make your own hotel arrangements, or complete a room request by clicking here or https://kpcrooms.questionpro.com.   We will make every effort to find you an affordable room in close proximity to the convention.

At this point there is no action required on your behalf, please refrain from contacting the Omni or Marriott Marquis. On Monday, 7/22/2019, the hotels will begin the migration process based upon the information that you provided when you reserved your room at the Sheraton.  Once the reservations have been transferred, you will receive confirmation from the respective hotel that you were assigned.    

Because this is still a very fluid situation, information may change during the planning process. Please understand that we had to essentially start a year's long planning process all over again, so your continued patience is greatly appreciated.
