Brief Biography: Deacon Houston graduated in May 1990 with a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration in 2002. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree at the Sankofa Institute for African American Pastoral Leadership at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas. Deacon Houston has been educating young people since 1990 and now serves as Associate Director of School Faith Formation for the Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He is assigned as Deacon at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, New Orleans.

Brief Biography: I served as Associate Pastor at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica. I worked closely with our Hispanic population as well as the Academy and High School Communities.
I also host a weekly Daily Mass reflection for the USCCB on Fridays. I am founder and producer of a Detroit based media platform, called Father and Father Podcast Lastly, I’m chaplain to Mary’s Mantle which is one of my favorite ministries. It’s a formation house for homeless pregnant young women needing a place to stay.

Brief Biography: Sidney O. Speaks, is a native of Baltimore, MD, and the oldest of nine, from the union of the late Sidney Oscar and Lillie Speaks. At the age of sixteen, Sidney felt that the Lord calling him to serve as a priest. Sidney was ordained a Josephite priest on December 4, 1999. Fr. Speaks has spoken in over 25 dioceses throughout and led numerous Catholic workshops. On July 1, 2019, Fr. Speaks was appointed Pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Church, where he gets the opportunity to serve over 700 families of a great faith community in New Orleans!
Previous Speaking / Presenter Experience(s): I have spoken at events on a national level, such as National Black Catholic Men's Conference, Kijunga, Unity Explosion. I have also spoken and led parish revivals throughout the country. I have spoken and led youth workshops, presentations, and revivals as well.

Brief Biography: Fr. Michael Trail is a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago ordained by Cardinal Blase Cupich in May 2016. Currently, he serves as pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Fr. Trail attended Loyola University Chicago for undergrad obtaining a bachelors in Philosophy in 2012. He earned a Masters of Divinity from The University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary in 2016. His personal interests include urban planning, the Church’s place in the life of the city, and the intersection of faith and daily life.
