The 2026 Gulf Coast District Conference, will be held in Birmingham, AL, hosted by Zone 4. May 1-3 at the Wynfrey Hotel, 1000 Galleria Circle. It is their hope that this conference will be an enjoyable and learning experience for us all. The theme is: Claverism and the Holy Spirit: The Force that Moves You.
2025 77th GCD Conference Mass Memories and Activities
Mobile, Alabama hosted the Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary’s 77th Annual Gulf Coast District Conference at the Mobile Marriott Hotel.
The Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary is the largest Black Catholic Lay organization in the United States. It was founded in Mobile, AL in 1909.
Archbishop, Thomas J. Rodi (Center Photo) celebrated the conference Mass on Saturday evening. Very Reverend Vernon Huguley of St. Peter the Apostle in Hoover is the District’s Chaplain and served as Homilist for the Mass.
